And since ten is the best number to use for a countdown list, why not take this moment to rank all the episodes released till date? Before we get on with the list, though, some clarifications. Firstly, only full fledged episodes will count, so Many Happy Returns, the promotional webisode, will not be on this list. Secondly, this will be quite a subjective list, so if you don't agree with it, go make your own instead. Without further ado, let's go through the top 10 episodes of Sherlock! It is only worthwhile to take a look at the current Flash story arc being run by DC (which came to a conclusion, only gearing up to address the aftermath, in the latest issue) centering around the actual rival of the Flash, the antagonist of Season 1 of the Flash TV series – Professor Zoom aka Eobard Thawne aka Reverse Flash (one among five others) aka a-few-other-aliases. by Luv Mehta It’s a new year already. We saw our first celebrity roast (and then proceeded to lose our shit), saw a spate of popular and high-quality serialized webseries (like TVF Pitchers) and saw our first Indian news satire show (On Air With AIB). We freaked out about Free Basics and Narendra Modi, went into an outrage about how no one was in an outrage over the Chennai floods, changed our profile pictures to show support for legalization of homosexuality in the US, for the victims of the Paris attacks and for Digital India (that last one I judged the hell out of).
For a dweeb like me, 2015 was pretty alright. While making a top 10 list of movies, though, I fell kinda short. So, I reasoned, why not take a look at the year that passed and hand out arbitrary awards to various things I watched in this year gone by? With yang comes yin, however, and True Detective has unfortunately been victim to a hugely scrutinized and highly derided sophomore slump.
While it may have been a disappointment, though, it makes for a highly interesting case study. So let's look at what worked in season two, and, of course, what went wrong. |
